Thanks. I got the S shaped guard fitted and attached to the blade today. It’s the same damascus as the blade. I also cut and fitted a damascus spacer. I’m thinking either a thin piece of brass or black micarta between the guard and steel spacer. What do you guys suggest?

My instinct is a black spacer, but what is the handle material going to be?
