KNIFE MAKER
CommandChiefBlackAsh.jpg 440c satin finish with desert Ironwood bolster and black ash Burl. The pins are stainless steel. Black G10 liner and in the dovetail between black ash and desert ironwood. The blade is about 4 1/4 and the handle is about 4 1/2. My brother did the sheath. Thanks for looking.

I like 440c a lot. It looks good with a hand sanded satin or polishes up great for a mirror finish. But I'm also just at the beginning of knife making and part of me using 440 is just staying in my comfort zone. it's not a complicated heat treat so I'm pretty comfortable with it. I'm sure I'll branch out to other stainless steels in the future.
Thanks,
Mike
