Finally finished the leather for this one and put a edge on it. Specs on it,blade forged from 5160 1/4 inch bar stock ,blade is 11 inches long and just under a 1 1/2 inches wide,3/8 of a inch at the recoso with a full distal taper. Guard is forged from wrought iron bar stock and plumb browned, spacer is brass and black paper micarta and handle is moose antler with brass and hard rock maple burl. Overall length is 16 1/2 inches. The tang is a threaded through tang with the addition of a brass pin . This was my first go at leather carving so I kept it simple and I think it compliments the knife very well.IMG_1040_kindlephoto-16124909.jpgIMG_1039_kindlephoto-17087133.jpgIMG_1038_kindlephoto-17199688.jpgIMG_1036_kindlephoto-17617767.jpgIMG_1034_kindlephoto-17681912.jpgIMG_1031_kindlephoto-17446033.jpgIMG_1030_kindlephoto-17285580.jpgIMG_1024_kindlephoto-18203501.jpgIMG_1026_kindlephoto-17936751.jpg

That is incredible! The moose antler handle with the maple accents is gorgeous. That’s your first leather carving?!
