First try posting here. I'm officially retired and out of business as a full-time knife maker. I'll continue as a hobbyist making a few knives now and then.
Number 5553. This is a Damascus hunting knife with Desert Ironwood handle, red micarta spacer, and German Silver fittings. The Damascus is 1084/15N20 steel. It is edge-quenched, has file work at the thumb rest. The overall length is 9 5/8 inches, the blade is about 5 1/8 inches long by 1 1/8 inch wide. The blade is about 0.150 inch thick just forward of the guard. With a leather sheath. SOLD
I lost my copy of Photoshop and Adobe won't reinstall my old one, so the photos are what they are. Also, I'm taking these photos with a cell phone camera, so they could be better.
