Before I retired I worked as a special agent for Homeland Security Investigations at the Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Unit. I've kept in touch with a number of the guys through social media, etc. Anyway, after seeing some of the pictures I've posted of some of my knives, one of the guys suggested a serial numbered knife with some engraving representative of the unit and our work. This is a prototype of the knife I came up with for the unit. The blade is AEB-L taken to a 400 grit satin finish. The handle material is carbon fiber. The knife when closed measures just under 5", open it measure just a little above 8 3/4". The cutting edge is approximately 3.75". In general I'm please with the way it turned out. Glad it's a prototype because there are some things that I will have to change going forward. Thanks for looking.
