Did that machine eat it's operator and just spit out the baseball cap on the floor?

That mill is in my friends shop. He just picked it up with a bunch of cutters for $900. As far as I know it hasn't eaten anyone..............yet. I asked my friends if they knew how to use it. They replied that it drills outstanding holes.
