pHOTO sIZE FOR UPLOADING

If you use Windows 10 you can resize in the Photos app. On the right hand side of the application there are four ellipses. Click on that and you will see the following drop down menu. Click on resize

Then you will see the following menu

I usually select Medium (M) I think L will work but the medium saves a bit on bandwidth.

From there it will ask you to save your changes. Then you can upload the photo directly to the website, or use a third party image site such as Imgur

It really best if you use a "third party" hosting site for your photos..... otherwise photos eat up a HUGE amount of space on the Knifedogs server/site....and eventually it will either cut you off from uploading any more photos....or it will force Tracy to buy more server space.

I use a couple of different free photo hosting services.....

https://postimages.org/

and the one I use most....

https://imgbb.com/

I find imgbb my favorite..... you upload your images to the site, and so far I haven't seen any limit to the amount of photos you can upload. You can also build "albums".... and then when you want to insert an image into a post here or on any forum, just go to the image, select what you want to use, and then copy/paste it into your post(s). It's doing Tracy a favor by not eating up server space, and it's easier for you to manage your photos.

If you're not familiar, there is a tiny learning curve, but it's easy, and if you need help, let me know and I will help walk you through how to use imgbb site.
