Ordered John Cohea's 2 DVD set on making a period sheath and received it yesterday (fast service from USAKS). Asked my wife if she wanted to watch it with me and she rolled her eyes, as usual, and said "if you insist". 10 minutes into it and she was just as fascinated as I was by John's simple "hows" and "why's". This is a first class video that anyone can follow with each and every step carefully explained. On my last trip to Tandy Leather in Louisville I had picked up some rawhide so I am now ready to give it a go - and so is the Mrs. Thank you John for an excellent video tutorial.
 
Danny, I agree.....I have both of John's videos and learned a tremendous amount from that Mississippi boat knifemaker...
He's just not as pretty as we are....
 
Randy, I still haven't figured out how John can smear super glue around with his fingers without getting them stuck together. I'd have one stuck inside my nose and another stuck to the seat of my pants.
