One of the first knives I've made from scratch

I've been putting knives together for a bunch of years and finally took the plunge (so to speak) and cut this from a 1/4 in X 3 in X 18 inch piece of 1075. I used the entire length of it and its just under 3 inches wide. The handle is Katalox, Orange blood wood and Ebony with mosaic pins. The braided lanyard is held together with an Elk Ivory set in Brass. Sheath to follow. It chopped the 2x6 in the picture and then cut newsprint just as pretty as you please!
Very pleased with the out come!!

The knives you have posted show a level of skill and finish that many fail to reach after many attempts. Very nicely done and of course welcome to the forum.
Do you do all your own leatherwork as well??

Von Gruff,
Thank you for your kind words. As I said in my intro I've been putting knives together for a long time and just started cutting my own steel. Yes I do all my own leather work. I started doing leather work before I put together my first knife. I'm going to have to learn how to take decent pictures next!!
Tim
