Newest Piece - Survival Model

LobosStyle Blades

Well-Known Member
Newest survival model off my workbench.
This one is MINE! I made thiis specifically for myself to use and abuse. It recently went on a trip to Wyoming with me where I played with it and intentially tried to dull the edge. This steel is amazing and anything short of sticking it into the soil repeatedly wasn't dulling the razor edge.
Steel: CPM-3v 3/16" thick.
Hardened: 60hrc
Handle: Full tang with Paper Micarta- Red, White, Black
5 - 1/4" lanyard holes
Sheath: 7-8oz Leather Left Hand / south paw construction.
Hand dyed and stitched with textured rivets.

I love the knife. It shows good style and those are killer scales. what are they made of and how did you get the wolf logo on them

Thank you all for the compliments. The sheath was more of a spur of the moment thing on the stitching I wanted to make unique.

The scales are micarta I make myself. This is construction paper that I polished out for the shine. The wolf is my logo that I sketched out years ago for a tattoo I wanted but never got around to it. I turned it into a stencil for my design and etched it in with a Personalizer Plus I got last year from this awesome website USAknifemakers.com. The process is simple but took a bit of trial and error in learning the nuances of the developing of the stencils and the proper application in etching and marking. I like the etching because it wont buff out and can't easily be ground out.
