Newbie from Arizona

Howdy folks,

New to the forum and just wanted to say howdy! I don't have the skill to make knives or the patience ( too damn old and can't see worth a darn) but I love to look at them and have a few, I spend most of my time when I'm not looking after my sweetheart of 36 years making knife blocks of Desert Ironwood for those of you with the skills to use it.

Wanted to add some pictures of my knife blocks for those that might be interested in what they look like, they are all Desert Ironwood 'Olneya Tesota' except the Orange and Blue ones, they are Staghorn Cholla Cactus cast in Alumilite resin

For the most part I came to learn ( I hope ) and socialize, I try to learn something new everyday and as I don't know diddly about knife making I figured this was a good place to learn, I may be an old dog but I can learn a new trick or two, and if I happen to sell a knife block or two, that's a good thing but not the main reason for being here.
