I have been watching for a little while and now saying hey. I have been toying around with knives and knife making since I was a kid. The first one I made I was around 12. It was a double edged knife. I ground and filed and heat treated it. I had fun heating it and putting it in oil bit it was never hot enough. It just turned it colors. I have made a few from the ground up, put handles on a few and reconfigured a couple. I need to find the pictures of the recent ones I have done. I want to make more and start forging to get deeper info it. I will be checking in to look at the great knives I uBersexual seen here. I hope to make some like the ones I see here fixed blade as we,ll as folders. Carry a knife I made.
