I'm new to custom knifemaking. Mike O'Machearley has taken me under his wing and has been showing me the tricks of the trade for the last 3 months. Thank goodness he's patience! I'm hooked!!

A little background: I retired from the Air Force after 26 years on active duty, taught & coached football/wrestling in high school for 5 years, been working at Wright-Patt since 2003.
 
Welcome to the pack. You have a heck of a nice teacher there. I had the opportunity to meet Mike at BLADE last year and really enjoyed our conversation.
 
Welcome to the dog pound xray, you have a great teacher there Michael does my heat treating for me, you wont find a nicer guy to talk to and learn knifemaking from then Michael.
