That's really good work. I'm usually not to fond of files made into knives, but this one worked well. Leaving just the filing on the edge was a brilliant solution.

It has been more than a year since I completed a knife. But, I am back in the grind. 8.5 inch hunter, 1075 carbon steel, polished hamon, green dyed and stabilized scales, brass bolsters and pins, brown sheath, black inserts, brown lacing.

Glad to see you are up and running again Dennis. I have noticed you responding to posts, but no new knives were forthcoming.
Knife is looking good, as always.

Dennis, would I be infringing on your trade secrets, if I asked you to describe your process for attaching the the butt cap to the handle of this knife? That is a very nice knife, well done - an impressive combination of materials and workmanship!

Well it has been a while since I posted a new knife. Here is my 2022 KITH knife/sheath made for OWL.

Roughly 9.5 inches long. 5 inch blade. 4.5 inch handle. I call this pattern Jackson. Made from 1095, hamon, brass bolsters/pins, desert ironwood scales. Wickett and Craig veg. tan leather, saddle tan/black.

Here is the link.

Enjoy the pictures.
