Lol a small little test hunter with a through tang, guard, and pommel. Haha... would take me a year and a half (probably 5 yrs lol) to fit all that together. Very nice knife!

Yup mystery steel stinks!! I made a cool little hawk out of an oldwrench. Got it all formed up ground to final shape. Thing wouldn't harden up!!.

Did you do a spark test on the steel?

I did not try the spark test for the simple fact I don't know what that is , my nephew took a piece to work and it tested as 4130 but it don't know for sure. I tried a good sharp file and it skates over the edge.
