Here is a Knife I made for my SIL...He's into Zombies......He plays those Zombie games on the puter all the time,so I thought he would like this one to protect him and my Daughter and Grandkids:lol:... I made it from an Agricultural disk (the flat ones not curved ( the one shown) They are right at 3/8" thick and a lot of Grinding! The scales I put on this one is the hardest Wood, I have ever worked with,I mean it almost worn out a brand new 60 grit blaze belt, it's called Katalox...It polishes up Beautiful and the color is like Burgundy...also, this thang is sharp as a darn razor... Hope y'all like it. :)

Steel.....Coulter Disk (HT by me)...Found out the disc is 1075 Steel

Overall length....12 1/2"

Scales.....Katalox (Did I say this wood is Hard??)

Neat knife, I use a lot of farm steel and love it. Katalox is also known as "Mexican Ebony", yes it is hard and dense and also gets darker with age. Used for a lot of chopping blocks.......Randy
