I have recently been making more kitchen knives and I thought I would share the latest one I finished up. I made this one as a retirement gift for a co-worker.
1080 steel
Flat ground
Clay quenched
Polished hamon
Multi-material handle construction
Handle materials are
Stabilized Box Elder burl
White G-10 spacers
Copper spacers
Cocobolo
Scales are sitting on red G-10 liners
Scales attached with bronze pins and mosaic pin.
Hand rubbed high polish on handle.

Let me know what you guys think about this design. I really like the way it all came together

Good work, good photos - that hamon sure looks nice. I really like the way you tied the handle together with the two different woods.

I love your design, the profile flows without interruption and the materials and workmanship make it so outstanding, I can't stop looking.
