Knife Rights' Pennsylvania Switchblade Ban Repeal and Knife Law Preemption Bill Introduced: Pennsylvania Senator Sharif Street has introduced SB 1013, Knife Rights' bill to repeal the Keystone State's ban on switchblade (automatic) knives and enact Knife Rights’ signature Knife Law Preemption.

This is a complimentary bill to the previously filed HB 1929 in the House. Co-sponsors at filing are Senators Maria Collett and Wayne Fontana.

Knife Rights will let you know when it is time to contact your legislators in support of SB 1013 and HB 1929.

Knife Rights had led the effort to repeal switchblade bans or restrictions in 18 states, starting with New Hampshire in 2010. Repeals have since been enacted in Alaska, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

Knife Rights helped enact the nation’s first Knife Law Preemption bill in Arizona in 2010 and has since passed preemption bills in Alaska, Georgia, Kansas, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Knife Rights is America’s grassroots knife owners’ organization; leading the fight to Rewrite Knife Law in America™ and forging a Sharper Future for all Americans™. Knife Rights efforts have resulted in 34 bills enacted repealing knife bans in 23 states and over 150 cities and towns since 2010.

Aren’t those all fully semi-automatic assault knives that carry 30 ninja swords in the handle? Jeez, who needs that? Just kidding, it’s good to see nonsense like that get nipped in the bud, before we end up like Europe where all the knives have their points ground off.

WTF. One of mans oldest tools, and now it’s bad!? I wonder what these super safe people use when they need to open a box, or cut some rope? I knew they were making knives with rounded off points, but this is just crazy. What a bunch of idiots

All I can say is... elections have consequences. Not sure what the forum policy is on politics, buuuuuut I'll just say "vote smartly" in November, and again in 24. If you catch my drift. (See my profile picture for more hints)
