Hello from Louisiana. i am new to knifedogs.com but i have been making knives for 2 years now and have become addicted. I usually buy blank blades and finish the handles . I am a woodworker and love to cut and shape wood. I do not have a forge yet but i have been buying blanks and finishing the blades. I have tons of different types of wood and have a pressure treater to stabilize the wood. I will be cutting up some new blocks soon and may have some extra i can sell cheap. I operate under the name of Bayou Custom knives.
 
Welcome. I'm a native of Lafayette, been on the road for 30+ years, my sister is in S'port, good to have fellow Louisianian aboard.
