Horizontal Edge Grinder

Hey dogz!! I have been looking pretty hard for a horizontal belt grinder not to many out there. The one that really catches my eye is the one that rob over there at Beaumont metal works machines out. That thing looks bullet proof like everything else he makes. Does anyone own one the EF-48-1hp-vs if so I would like there opinion.

Thanks, Mike

I have the horizontal grinder in 48, but would like to change it to 72 when I get a chance (and more room). Great machine and having it VS is invaluable for smooth curves. I had some special 5/32 "wheels" done so I can crawl the machine and clean up the stop pin area on my folder blades. :)

I have one, too. an awsome machine! dont bother getting one unless its variable speed.., not only will you have far more controle but your small wheels will last a good long time, too.

I got one too. The 48" version and the extension plate for 72" sits underneath it on a shelf. I'm going to have to install that one day. I have a 1750rpm single speed on it.
