I am going to continue to look for other great links and add them here for your viewing pleasure.

The first one is the tutorial section on North Coast knives. There are a lot of tutorials here. Pat Percival has put a time in to these.

NORTH COAST KNIVES TUTORIALS

The second is one that I found a while back. Marcus Clinco has a very straight forward explanation of his knife making process.

THE KNIFE MAKING PROCESS

Here is one site of a Mississippi knife maker named Chris Crawford. He is very talented, and he has posted some great info on his site.

Chris Crawford Tutorials

This is a kydex tutorial I found on another site dedicated to bushcraft. Here is there the main site. Bushcraft USA

Kydex Tutorial

Hope you guys find these to be useful.

Those are very good! I remember reading the Northcoast Knives page and Dan Koster's old tutorial page before picking up any of the usual texts on knifemaking. After purchasing a few books, it seemed like I'd wasted my money! With as many talented guys out there sharing their processes with hacks like me, it seems the only reason to buy a book is so you don't have to keep a computer in the shop.

Similarly, here are some videos that are better than DVDs I've paid for:

I love these things, even when they're about stuff I already kind of know. I always seem to find a new tip or two in each one. Thanks!

Did ya ever see this sight? There is a LOT of information! It took me quite a while to go through it all at my last job before I moved from Wisconsin. I still use a bunch of the sights when I'm doing something new. There's also heat treat info and how to make your own equipment.
