My name is Pieter and I am from South Africa. I am a new knife maker, made 1 knife during a knife making coarse, and I am in the process of making 2 grinders KMG tipe.

I love every thing that I have seen on this forum and the info and tips on this site is so valuable to a newby like me.

I am a hunter, hunting with rifle and bow and we are realy spoilt for choice here in South Africa. The other great advantage of the South African Bush is the wide variety of beatifull hard woods that we can use for knife handels not to mention the antelope horns and ivory.

Thank you everybody for the welcome but I must confess I have been surfing this forum for a very long time already.

Steven I am more of a Black Label man. I think it taste beter than Castle but we are in full agreement on the Sprinboks.
