Hi all
I started making knives when i was 14 learning from the foxfire books I have never bought a pre manufactured blade i make all of mine from various saw blades also i forge a few but that just takes forever my sons 15 and 16 also are forging their own blades from worn out files

Hey Dan, welcome to the pack. I love the Foxfire books and have read them cover to cover many times. Where are you in CO? I used to live in Carbondale and Aspen and have driven down through Montrose to Durango a number of times. I've skiied Purgatory and Telluride but never made it to Crusty Butt.
