First Knife

I took a one on one knife making workshop at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR with a fellow named Tom Weir. It was a blast and Tom was a great teacher.

This is the end result.

I'm trying a solo effort at home now. It's sure a lot easier when you have all the equipment available.

In Nov.09 we took a trip,which brought us through
Mountain View,Arkansas.....I will say,that has got to be
one of the most beautiful places in the country.
