This will be a thread that I post new knives that I complete. The posting of pictures is a little bit different than that of other forums that I frequent. Please bear with me as I struggle to learn to post pictures on KD.

I just finished this knife/sheath on 11/11/2013. It still needs to be sharpened.

Overall it is 6 3/4 inches long. The blade is 3 inches, the handle is 3 3/4 inches. Blade material is 1/8th inch 1095.

Scales are maple with a blue spacer.

This is the first knife that I have made with a bolster (SS410).

    Thanks for looking.

I really like the knife. That sheath is exactly what I hope to be able to make one day!

Here is the most recent knife that I completed. It is another small hunter. For whatever reason, I really like this pattern.

Overall it is 6 3/4 inches long. The blade is 3 inches, the handle is 3 3/4 inches. Blade material is 1/8th inch 1095.

Stainless steel bolsters and pins. Green liner.

Sheath is light brown and tan with black highlights and threading.

    Tell me what you think.

    DeMo,
You are doing quite well! Your patterns are very similar to my first hunters when I started. Keep with it and you will continue to improve with each knife.

I cannot take full credit for this knife. I put on the stag handle.

The knife was rescued from the workshop of a deceased knife maker. I think it is some form of stainless steel. I think it started as a planer blade. When I got it, it had the guard attached and was in need of final sanding, a handle, and a little TLC.

It is now a useful tool and I will give it to a co-worker who gets 3 roses every week from her husband. She always cuts the ends off so the flowers will stay fresh. I did make the simple sheath so that it has a place to rest in her desk drawer.

Take a look. It is my first stag handle.

Here is a knife that I just finished up. It needs to be sharpened and a final buff but it is nonetheless finished.

Knife is made from 1095. It is 6 3/4 inches long, blade is 3 1/4 inches, handle is 3 1/2 inches.

Buffalo horn handle material with brass bolsters and 3/32nd pins. Black sheath with white threading.

Sheath was made to look like fish scales for the eventual owner.

I hope you like it. It is one of my favorites.

Here is my newest creation. It is a first for me. First whitetail deer handle, first guard, first 3/4 tang knife. Probably a few others.

It is 10 inches long. 5 1/2 handle, 4 1/2 blade. 1095 with a brushed finish. A little bit of jimping on top. Stabilized walnut, yellow and green spacers. Whitetail deer antler/dyed dark brown. sheath is saddle tan with chocolate brown edges.

I just finished this knife up for the KITH 2014. It is made from 1095 and is around 8 3/4 inches long. Blade is just under 4 inches. Handle is around 4 3/4 inches. Handle is brass, stabilized walnut and sambar stag. Sheath is tan and chocolate brown with a brass snap.

    Enjoy!
