Here is something I recently finished, the blade is 4 3/4" it was forged and ground by Buzz Johns JS, I did the rest the blade ran out of damascus right behind the end of the grind that is the reason for the bolster being made the way it is, it is one piece 416 the handle is mammoth the sheath is nickel silver hand finished to 4000 grit. Ecellent looking dagger and I like how that bolster looks just the way it is!
My 2 cents is some go over board with all the fancy materials to the point that its too busy to enjoy.
