Barlow? or Lanny's Clip?

I recently finished this one for a customer. It's 3 1/4" and covered with elephant ivory. Integral bolsters, blade pivot bushing, CPM 154 CM blade and spring.

Here's a tutorial on the shield inlay http://knifedogs.com/showthread.php?28004-Shield-Inlay-Tutorial

Very sweet looking knife and fine craftsmanship!
I personally like everything about this fine knife you made except that it has elephant Ivory on it.

Legal or not, There is just two much pressure on these magnificent animals from poachers and too many ethical questions of origin and I won't use it or have any knives for retail sell in my cutlery store that contain it. I prefer Mammoth Ivory, they are already extinct, or synthetics.

At this rate there won't be any Elephant or Rhino's in the wild within most of our lives.

Just my two cents.

Bossdog,
You are of course welcome to delete this if you feel I am out of bounds?
