48" Speed-cut conversion to 72 inch

Has anybody converted a 48" Speed-cut to a 72"?

I've added an idler wheel behind the drive wheel giving me additional belt length but the existing tracking (upper idler wheel) won't move the belt side to side. Currently the belt runs center but we need to move the edge of the belt to the edge of the wheel for some grinds both left and right.

So, I'm thinking about making the new (idler wheel) track adjustable too.

Any opinions from those who have made their own grinders?

Thanks

I converted a variable speed baldor 48" to a 72". Put a large 1/2 steel plate under the grinder and the idler wheel assembly is attached to the plate.
I blocked off the adjustment on the idler wheel.
All adjustment is from the original baldor tracking.
Been using it for over 10 years with no problems.

Here is a pic of mine.
