    Never try that but if the propane torch is too large, may be you can try with that: https://www.canadiantire.ca/fr/pdp/chalumeau-mag-torch-oxy-map-0587579p.html I use it for brazing, the flame is very small and precise, and hotter than propane (so less heat propagation may be)
