I am trying to make a spring for a slip joint folder out of ATS 34. I was given instructions to heat treat at 1850deg. F and soak for 30min, I then air quenched and then was told to draw at 1160 deg. F for 2hours one time. The result was 40RC. Could you possibly advise me on a procedure with an...
