Oh that's great to hear! I have some stabilized quilted maple that isn't dyed and is kind of bland. This should really make it beautiful. I'm going to have to try some of this stuff. Thanks for sharing this tip!

Very cool. I imagine you can't use this stuff on stabilized wood? I wonder how it compares with having wood dyed and stabilized in terms of bringing out the figure.

Thanks Bill, I think we all need reminding of this from time to time (I know I do). I love to be served by my wife but do I serve her the way Christ serves the church? I'm going to be more mindful of her needs and intentionally attend to them this week because of your thoughtful reminder!

Finished up this gyuto a few weeks back. It's 0.1" CPM154 that has a 220mm blade. The handle is Amboyna burl and African Blackwood.
