    Here's one I just finished. Forged from a 3" ball bearing 52100. The handle is ironwood. I did a little engraving and file work on the back.

    Forged 22" Machete

    I was asked to turn a hydraulic ram into a machete. I told him I didn't know what kind os steel it is. Either 4140 or 1070? It hardened up good so it should be fine. The handle is rubber.
