    Removing Stainless Discoloration Heat Treat

Hello all, looking to see what the best way is to remove this discoloration from the heat treatment of this AEBL stainless. I do have some texturing along the flats of the knife I'd rather not sand away if possible. Didn't know if buffing wheel or scotchbrite wheel would be best. Thanks!

It works OK, although it does leave a nasty burr right around the pivot hole. To avoid this, I am considering...

    Finishing Titanium Framelock Scales

So I don't have a blast cabinet (yet). What other ways are there to finish titanium scales to give them that gunmetal gray broken in look? I have thought about hitting with with my scotchbrite belt and putting them in the vibratory tumbler with the HF ceramic media. Anyone go that route...

    Lock Rock

So I made my 2nd and 3rd liner lock knives recently. Got pretty much everything done and fitted up. During the final fit and test, I noticed that both had some lock rock. Meaning I could move the blade slightly in the open/close direction. It isn't much, but enough to not let it be. These...
