    I made my first twisted Damascus last week end, I started with 11 layers, 6 of 1084 and 5 15n20. I welded forged out cut and restocked 3 layers so 33 layers.     Spalted pecan scales

    I cut up a pecan log the other weekend, man, did I hit the jackpot! I can't believe all the different looks that I got. I still have half the log to cut up. I have all of these stabilized with cactus juice now. I wet the 2 individual scales so I could get a look at it.
