I carry a 100+ year old collared butcher knife that was converted into a type of Hudson Bay blade. It has a 6" blade with a walnut handle. It still has all of traits that gives it that antique quality look and it takes a razor's edge.

This horizontal carry sheath obviously isn't a beaded one, but still has that southwest look going for it.

Depending on the size of the sheath, one with a lot of beading can take anywhere from 30-60 hours depending on the amount of beadwork. I don't do nearly as much beading as I used to. I'm almost 60, and after nearly 40 years of doing it, it's getting tough on my eyes and I hate wearing...

It was a good suggestion. His anvil mark is different than this one and has his initials SAS under it. I blew up the pics and it appears to have the intials HC or HG inside the anvil. Thanks.
