Mine I's sent to NPD it was traveling a long ways bit should be there soon not sure how long in customs in denmark

I have the ames style hand held , I got a good deal on it when I bought it or I would have bought the table top as there is not much price difference, I put mine in a vise "wrap the handle in leather of course"when I use it I have the test blocks its usually within 1 hrc of the test block. Anthony

Here is mine a "10 oal Tanto 5" blade 440c , hollow ground, carbon fiber handle , leather sheath , I know the blade is larger than the limit if I need to bow out let me know I didn't see it was to big till it was to late. Anthony

Sorry I just found the thread again yes mine has the solid frame it cost more because the frame is thicker its a heavier machine , I love it if your like me and don't have a place for a Bridgeport it works great. And yes I went to a community college right out of high school to be a machinist...
