Great looking knife. This is (to me) quite an unconventional blade shape, especially with the small 'ear' on the front of the blade. I am curious to hear more about it.
Thank you!! The hook on the end is used to open the knife one handed .. the hook catches on your pocket when pulling it out. I make these blade profiles mainly for cowboys as a castration knife when working cattle. From my understanding, these type knives came about when civil war veterans came home without hands/fingers/arms and still wanted to be able t o carry a folder. I've seen them called " one arm bandits", this is just my version
