Brass Tubes??

So I made an order the other day from Texas Knife. Grab bag of 1/4" x 6" brass tubes. I received 1/4" x 6" brass ROD. No big deal...I called and spoke with a really nice guy that said he was shipping out the correct part at no charge. I was like WOW .. how cool. (And that is good customer service for sure) Went to the mailbox today and received 1/4" x 6" brass ROD again. Both packing slips have the proper TUBE part number and description. I really wanted to tinker with making mosaic pins but I guess I'll just use 1/4" RODS ... lol. Wonder what I need to do to get tubing?

Call them one more time. Tell them there is a problem with there part#. Have them walk back and double check that #. Also check to make sure the rod was not miss marked. It happens!!!!

I'll give that a shot. Worst case I end up with 180" of brass rod ;)

Yep, "Boss" is the person we're all thankful to for hosting this forum. I like to buy from them - they have decent prices and GREAT!!! customer service.

I want to try it also. I recently bought this, I bought some brass rods at an Ace hardware. I have the resin. I just haven't tried doing ot yet. One of the issues I was having was designing it so the tiny brass rods I have fit into the rods in a nice pattern. IMG_3685.jpg

Who is the Boss of which you speak? I'd do that just so I could say "Thanks Boss" lol

Sorry about that, I've been here a while and take for granted some of the names I know now thanks to this forum! Yes he owns USA Knife Maker as some have already informed you!

You can Super Glue the rods together in the pattern you want then put them into the main tube and fill with epoxy. Obviously don't be over generous with the superglue and pre-fit it all into the tube prior to gluing it up.

That's a good idea, thanks
