Here's a few knives I recently finished, the first one is a boning, saltwater filet knife I'm donating to the Safari Club-Tampa Bay chapter fundraiser this weekend for their auction. This will be the 23rd year I've donated a knife to their auction.
It has a blade of satin finished 12C27, laminated hardwood handle with brass and green fiber optic pins, nickel silver lanyard hole.

This next one is a boning knife also, blade is satin finished 12C27, stabilized spalted maple with white micarta bolsters, black spacers and nickel silver pins and lanyard hole.

Next up is a hunter-skinner, satin finished CPM154 with vine pattern filework on the spine, G10 handles and contrasting G10 bolsters. nickel silver pins and lanyard hole.

And this last one is a skinner, satin finished CPM154 with vine pattern filework on spine, Desert Ironwood with black G10 bolsters, red liners, nickel silver pins and lanyard hole.....Thanks for looking and hope you liked them. :)

Very nice job. The sheaths look great as well. Nice job on the white bolsters. I’ve used white once and couldn’t get them white again. Dirt and grit in the grain. You must have a trick.

The spalted maple/white handle is beautiful! The shape of that knife/handle...amazing. The sheath is the icing on the cake...it's perfect for that knife. I think that's as good as it gets!

I think all of the knives you posted are great. I really like the second filet knife and the skinner!

Your work is well executed. Those are some really nice blades! I'm with small shop on the spalted maple - my favorite as well.

Beautiful work. I have to be honest to say that the G10 patterns are not my thing, but all the other handle materials are fabulous.

Thanks guy's..........yea, that G10 one....I don't know... I finish most all my G10 knives similarly, you either love it, hate it, or eh...it's ok.
They look better in person, have a great grip and sell well so I keep making them,. personally I like the oddball kind of raspy finish, it's sure not going to give any slip in your hand. I call that finish Moonscape.

Mike, I've read other places where people had problems with dirt or black specks in their white micarta, I've never had that problem but I've always bought my micarta from Sheffields Knifemakers supply in Orange city Fl.
I have seen some white micarta for sale at shows that looked kind of questionable to me as to the density of the stuff.
Also, the white micarta I use for bolsters is the paper based, cloth based might present a problem with dirt getting into it.
