New Etcher and Stencils

Got a Personalizer Plus and a stencil making kit from Etch-O-Matic. This is the first try. I used a very small mark to see how much detail I could get and if it would be legible. Might etch a little deeper next time but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Good detail for small text. After giving the black etch a few minutes to "set" (get good 'n dry) take a 1200 grit sandpaper and do a light (very light) wet sand and watch the detail get even sharper.

Very impressive. I may have to try that stencil kit out after mine wear out. Looks great.

Wow Ken, I will have to keep that in mind and give it a try!!

Hey Randy - that looks good!! Glad the little tip was useful. Tupelo is close to home. I lived in Amory for a while while docked at Smithville marina. Grew up just across the ms/al line due east from Tupelo. Daughter and her family still live in Amory, and I purchased both my GL1800 goldwings at Tupelo. It's good to see somebody from "up home" {g}
