I'm looking for a left handed (ambidextrous) folder knife kit. every kit i have seen is right hand carry/open. Also i am really looking for a lockback, rather than liner lock. A fast, easy opening "tactical" type for my work. Many times I have only one hand available or have gloves on, etc...

What woods dont need a finish? tung oil etc. In cased missed it in a post or something, Is there a list of what woods don't need to or won't take a finish?(like tung oil) I have seen oily exotic woods that don't. But is there a clear list or maybe just tell what you know in your experience.

I use a cut off wheel first to cut out shape (air die grinder or cut off wheel on angle grinder). then a 4-1/2" grinder to make it roughly to dimension. finally shape it on belt grinder.
