Great Idea and I have never thought of that. What I did do was purchase some bar stock Stainless and I am just going to make the tools out of them without heat treat and temper. Just cut them out, polish, add scales and go. I may sharpen the cheese knife but if it looses it's edge oh well...

Thanks I will look into this. Seems like a good option. I just don't want to put several hours into a little tool that smears cheese on crackers if not needed.
