born 68 years ago in ponca city, oklahoma. grew up in kansas. i used to hunt and fish, but now, i mostly wish. i started making a few knives in 1983. at that time,i got really interested and wanted to learn heat treating. i did learn quite a bit, but i have been following the forum and know how little i did know. i worked for 30 years in aircraft. started as a structere mechanic, and retired as a toolmaker.
