Great work guys! Here is my blade. It is 1095, 5 3/4" OAL with a 2 5/8" blade. green canvas Micarta with red liners, stainless pin and thong tube with some jimping on the spine. I do have a kydex sheath that is not pictured but I can post a picture in a few days as I am out of town right now...

I have to agree with Ed and Nathan, Ernie was easy to deal with and very helpful! The biggest jump in quality of my etch was a friend of mine told me to dab the pad on paper towels after dipping in the solution. I had almost destroyed a blade by using too much solution, it created a dark cloud...

OK Dogs, I ordered up some 3/32 440C, 6 inch wide so I can make a couple of chefs knives. I am curious about grinding a chefs knife, should I grind it on the flat platen or slack belt for a convex grind? I really want to see some kitchen knives that you guy's have made. If you've made one...

#5, Plain Jane Ok dogs, this is #5. This one is a plain Jane :D . It is 3/16 O1. The tang is tapered with Coyote Brown G10 with Black liners and a Scotchbrite finish. This one has solid stainless pins. I think I may just put this one through its paces to see what she is made of!! Please excuse...
