Yep Weatherman they chuck right up in the drill press, the double ends is cutters on both ends of the bit, kinda 2 for 1!

The 4 flute has 4 cutting ends on it, and is flat faced so it doesnt "chatter" and "walk" all over the place. You can get them in every size the ones i have are double ended, enco is a good resource. I dont have a mill either...yet! Anyhow, Im learning to love my files and stop and brush them...

I Recently had a knife come back to me due to a run through the dishwasher! Needless to say the scales swoll up, and broke free from the liners but the liners stayed firm to the tang. I have always CA'd my material to my liners, then epoxy liner and scale to tang and back that up with corbies...

Tuff spot weatherman! So if it were me i would, assuming the scales are able or are already off the tang, get a scribed mark on one scale and nice and slowly sand it down to that mark, confirm thats where you want to be mate the scales together temporarily, and sand the one to fit the other...
