    Thank you! I read up on cleaning them on here aft that attempt and tried dawn and warm water on the little one, it came out much more even, just one pesky spot, I made sure to wear rubber gloves to avoid touching the blade after cleaning. thank You for the advice, it’s much appreciated!

    Thank you gentlemen. It’s got it’s issues, mostly cosmetic, I come from a woodworking background so there’s a bit of a learning curve, but she’ll shave hair and is holding an edge. My eig year old asked if he could have it, I feel like I’d like it to have been better but he’s happy with it.

    Hello all, just joined, glad to be here. I’ve only made one knife, nothing crazy, just stock removal 1080 and some mahogany scraps I had laying around I've Got a couple others in the works, one a gift for my niece, another a small chopper for the kitchen.
