Here is my latest slip joint. This is the 1st pattern ive done from scratch (no template) and the 2.75” blade is the last of the feather pattern I did at Bruce Bump’s. It measures 3.75” closed. Spring is A2, fittings are 416 and scales are mammoth ivory. Hope ya’s like it.

Steve, i think it may be a little bit too wide but will depend on how thick you make the handle. Looks to me like a silver throat and tip over leather style sheath is required, looking at the style so far.

I had always thourght my handles were pretty comfy or that i had a pretty good idea of how a handle should feel until when testing my JS performance blades i got some surprising sore spots when doing the 4 x 2 chops. Didnt require a lot of work to get rid of the hot spots but it sure...
