    Powder Coating

As I venture further into this hobby I was wondering if anyone uses Powder coating as a finish for the blades?

Many have tried it. It's durability is the problem, any type of serious cutting tasks, and the powder coat finish is quickly scratched, marred, and eventually destroyed.
