    Oroshigane Yanagiba

    Haven't been here in a long while, but thought I'd share something I finished up here recently.
    This was made for one of the expats here at work. Chunk of my oroshigane. Handle is birds' eye maple with a stainless spacer and ebony.

    I really need to figure out how to take better pictures.

    Build yourself a small light box frame. Basically build a wood box use a soft light bulb with cotton drape. This will give a soft lighting with no shadows. Your pictures will improve a hundred percent

    Nice work! But it's hard to tell how big it is? (without anything in the photo for comparison)
