    Wa Watussi

Hand forged 1065 head with a real pretty curly maple haft. Did a dyed buckskin wrap with Turks heads on the handle. The dye isn't totally dry yet. Still got a little bit more to do but its real close. Been forging on the head for at least 2 or 3 weeks. After heat treating it the first time the tip warped. After trying to fines the warp out I ended up breaking the tip off so I had to do some plastic surgery and give it a nose job.

Eli, For certain things a grinder does come in handy. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to reply on my old dead forum. Thanks for dropping by!

Peter, Pretty sure you had seen this one when you came over. Guess I was working on this one for well over a month doing just a little at a time.

The only time I do the war dance now is when I am getting up out of bed in the morning. I call it the old warrior shuffle........
